Vertis, a provider of targeted advertising, media and marketing services based in Baltimore, announced the appointment of Joe Scott as senior vice president of sales for North America. Prior to joining Vertis, Scott was director of global strategic outsourcing sales competency for IBM.

Jim Hopkins, president and CEO of Hopkins Printing, Columbus, OH, was inducted as a Laureate into the Central Ohio Business Hall of Fame.
