Frank Arndorfer, vice president of finishing operations for Quad/Graphics, Sussex, WI, has been named the 2004 Binding, Finishing and Distribution Operations Manager of the Year by the R&E Council of NAPL.

Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA, has established a memorial endowment in honor of longtime graphic communication professor Hank Apfelberg. Apfelberg taught at Cal Poly for more than 30 years, and was also an author and researcher in the graphic arts industry.
