Flag Contest Waves In 50th Anniversary
BERRYVILLE, VA—Berryville Graphics, a book products manufacturer that’s part of arvato Print, a Bertelsmann company, has begun a year-long celebration of its 50th anniversary. As part of the celebration, a Berryville 50th anniversary flag design contest was created for the plant’s workers.
Four Colour Imports, a Louisville, KY-based book manufacturing representative for Friesens Printing in Canada and Everbest Printing in China, has hired Ronald Hicks as the company’s Northeast sales representative covering New York City and New England. Also, Kara Mills transitions into sales from production manager, handling 10 states.
Bob Hanon, former owner of Hanon Printing, has joined The EGT Group in Madison Heights, MI, in the sales department.
Jeff Longwell recently joined the staff of The Print Source in Wichita, KS.
John Czelusniak, vice president of operations at Great Lakes Integrated, has been inducted into the Graphic Arts Council of Cleveland’s Hall of Distinction.

Also, Frank Graziano is the new vice president of manufacturing and will manage the company’s forms and label manufacturing operations.

Daily Printing, an employee-owned company in Plymouth, MN, has appointed Thomas Moe to vice president of sales and marketing.
Block Graphics in Portland, OR, has promoted Carl Weaver to the position of vice president of operations. Weaver has been with the company’s envelope and forms manufacturing divisions for more than 16 years.

Schawk Inc. has appointed Anne Marie Pagliacci to its executive management team. Pagliacci will continue to serve the Des Plaines, IL-based company as executive vice president and group managing director of Anthem Worldwide, where she oversees the company’s strategic design competency across 12 locations. Printing Industries of Virginia (PIVA) has inducted Greg Hannahs, vice president of manufacturing at Worth Higgins & Associates, a Richmond printer, and Doyle Rasnick, a Tazewell printer, into the Virginia Printing Hall of Fame.
