An extensive North American sales and technical support group, Graphic Systems North America (GSNA), has been formed to serve as the master distributors for Ryobi printing equipment. The group is comprised of six organizations with combined annual revenues of more than $60 million and a long history with Ryobi printing presses. GSNA group members will offer Ryobi's complete line of printing equipment, both directly and through a 20-member authorized dealer network.
David Bell has rejoined Mitsubishi Imaging (MPM) as director of digital paper sales. His responsibilities include sales, training and the distribution of Mitsubishi's portfolio of digital papers.

The Charlotte, NC, and Columbia, SC, locations of xpedx have earned EPA Energy Star designation for energy efficiency. xpedx has established a goal to earn the Energy Star at seven facilities this year, and has earned Energy Star at 24 locations since 2011.
The Graphic Systems Div. of Fujifilm North America has joined CMYK Distributors' dealer network, making Fujifilm a national provider of Digital Information's InkZone ink presets and closed-loop product line. In other news, Fujifilm has entered into an agreement to purchase Royce Imaging Technologies. Royce is now part of Fujifilm's Graphic Systems Div. as a sales, service and distribution center in Salt Lake City.
Three new appointments have been made at Appleton Coated. Jeff Waldvogel has been hired as a sales representative for the Illinois and Wisconsin region. He replaces John Mazuroski, who moved into the newly created position of new business development manager for technical and specialty products. Natalie Momplaisir has been promoted to corporate account specialist for the Midwest.
Komori America has expanded its KomoriKare program to include consumable products, press upgrades and ancillary pressroom equipment. Leading this division are two veteran Komori employees. Martin Ford has been appointed regional manager for the Eastern United States, and Derek Gordon has been named regional manager for the Western United States.
Van Son Holland Ink has selected Rafael Drozt to serve in the newly created position of senior sales representative of the Midwest. He formerly worked for KBA and Mid-City Lithographers.

After 35 years of operating Kernic Systems, the founding owners have sold the business to Jason and Claire Hineman. Jason Hineman is now president and Claire Hineman heads its marketing efforts. John Jurk continues to lead system sales.
