Inkjet Innovations Are on Display at Latest Fujifilm Wide-Format Technology Summit
HANOVER PARK, IL—Another Wide-Format Technology Summit was hosted recently by Fujifilm North America, Graphic Systems Div., this time at its new Technology Center here. Nearly 50 attendees toured the 23,000-square-foot center. On display for live demonstrations were the Inca Onset R40i and Q40i; the Acuity series of presses, including the new Acuity F; the Uvistar Pro-8W; the Esko Kongsberg cutting table iXP24; and ColorGATE RIP software.
In addition, the multi-day technology summit included a customer user panel and a presentation by Marco Boer of IT Strategies, titled "Moving to Inkjet: Where, Why and When?"
Jetcomm, a new conference for HP inkjet web press users, will debut March 4-5, immediately preceding the North American DscoopX conference in Washington, DC.
Christian-Pierre Bourg, founder of the C.P. Bourg Group, passed away Nov. 16 at the age of 89. Mr. Bourg started the company in 1960, and it grew via a network of 150 distributors in nearly 100 countries and a U.S.-based corporate office.
