A strategic partnership has been formed between Gallus Inc. and Prati Co. of Italy. Gallus now represents sales of Prati equipment for the label printing marketplace in the United States and provides aftermarket services and parts.
Derek Gordon has been appointed Midwest regional manager at Graphco. He will be responsible for selling the full Ryobi line, providing support and consultation to the sales team, partners and customers througout the Midwest.
Highcon has appointed Paul Chandonnet to the role of sales manager for Highcon North America. He most recently served as director of business development for Anro, a West Chester, PA-based printer and the first North Ameican Highcon Euclid digital cutting and creasing machine customer.
Jim Putney, Southeast regional manager for customer technical service at Sun Chemical, received the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers Pioneer Award. He holds three U.S. patents/extensions on color communication.
Spokesman for the management at manroland web systems, Eckard Hoerner-Marass, has left the company. Uwe Lueders, CEO at L. Possehl & Co., has taken over his responsibilities. In addition, Joern Gossé is now in charge of the division for sales, service and marketing.
