LAKESHORE, ONTARIO—A letter suggesting that a bomb was hidden somewhere in a Vistaprint facility here turned out to be unfounded, but not before 300 employees were evacuated and police were brought in to investigate, the Windsor Star reported.
A police spokesperson told the newspaper that a letter found in the building the morning of Nov. 17 suggested that an explosive device could be found on the premises. An investigation ensued, but an all-clear alert was later given after nothing suspicious was found.
A school is located across the street from the Vistaprint plant.
Employees on the 2 p.m. shift were told not to report to work. The 10 p.m. crew took its scheduled shift.
