Printers: Help RIT by Responding to This Short Survey on Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Risks
There is increased pressure for printing firms to reduce their environmental, health and safety (EH&S) risks. Having a vested financial printing interest in printing industry EH&S performance, insurance agents can play an active role in helping printers to identify and prevent environmental health and safety liability. Little is known, however, about the ways in which insurance companies can act in this role.
Focusing on the printing industry, researchers at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) are conducting a survey to capture the nature and extent that insurance companies help printing establishments manage their EH&S performance. These survey results will help printing companies develop more productive relationships with their insurers, and reduce the costs of non-compliance and liability.
The survey should not take more than 10 minutes to complete. If you think you are not the right person to complete this survey, please pass it on to an individual in your organization familiar with EH&S in your printing facility for them to complete it.
At the end of the survey, each respondent will have a chance to enter a raffle for one of four $30 Amazon gift cards, to be drawn on June 7, as a thank you for survey participation. Results of the survey will be also shared with NAPCO media, the publisher of Printing Impressions.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact RIT Professor Sandra Rothenberg at slrbbu@rit.edu
