Originally founded in 1984, Haapanen rapidly outgrew its 2,000-square-foot building and today occupies a nearly 50,000-square-foot production facility in Lake Forest. As the company grew, it steadily expanded its services to include graphic design, high-speed multicolor printing, digital and variable data output, pharmaceutical printing and folding, and a full range of bindery and fulfillment capabilities. Clients include Fortune 500 corporations, small- to large-size companies, as well as many mom-and-pop owned businesses. Haapanen currently employs between 65 and 70 full- and part-time staff.
