Printing Company ‘Takes the Plunge’ for Special Olympics of Montana
GREAT FALLS, Mont. - November 30, 2018 - For the first time, PrintingCenterUSA is leveraging the power of its national customer base to fundraise for the company’s Great Falls Polar Plunge team benefiting Special Olympics of Montana (SOMT). PrintingCenterUSA will donate a portion of online orders placed through December 6th to SOMT, details can be found here.
The nonprofit’s annual Polar Plunge event - scheduled for Dec. 7 in Great Falls - represents another first for PrintingCenterUSA because the Great Falls-headquartered company is participating with its first-ever Polar Plunge team.
“The Polar Plunge is a wonderful way to bring our employees together to help a great local cause. We’re amazed by how many of our employees are looking forward to ‘taking the plunge,’” said Haley Thomas, Account Services Manager, PrintingCenterUSA. “We feel honored to be able to help the Special Olympics of Montana execute its mission of empowering those with intellectual disabilities through the power of sports.”
The Great Falls Polar Plunge is one of 12 Polar Plunges across Montana. Participation provides individuals and organizations with a unique opportunity to support SOMT athletes by taking an icy dip into freezing waters. Plungers must raise the minimum amount to earn the privilege of taking the plunge. They can also raise additional funds and earn extra incentives along the way. Events like the Polar Plunges help support over 3,000 SOMT athletes.
