G.F. Puhl has moved into a new 51,000-square-foot office and manufacturing complex in Gallatin, TN, thereby increasing its manufacturing capacity and storage space. The company designs and manufactures trim collection systems.

More than 150 guests at a recent MAN Roland open house got an early look at the new Roland 700 HiPrint sheetfed press running in conjunction with MAN’s InlineFoiler Prindor. The “Hi” stands for high quality in regard to this 41˝ model press, which can be configured with an array of in-line quality control and production capabilities. Held at MAN Roland’s Graphic Center in Westmont, IL, the event also featured expert presentations on a range of topics relating to printer profitability. It was hosted by Vince Lapinski, CEO of MAN Roland, who remarked that, “Printers are being pulled in two directions at once. They need to utilize new applications and differentiate themselves from the competition, while lowering their cost of production. This technology allows them to accomplish both goals at the same time, while expanding their profit margins.”
