Stora Enso recently expanded its sustainability efforts in two ways. The paper maker’s Centura, Productolith (gloss, dull and matte sheets) and Arbor product lines now meet the chain- of-custody certification requirements of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC). Earlier this year, the company added SFI and PEFC certifications to the existing FSC certification of six of its North American mills. Also, Charles (Charlie) Deutsch has been appointed to the position of director, uncoated mechanical business development. Deutsch joined Stora Enso in 1997.
