Fujifilm has unveiled a plan to use methane gas produced by a local community landfill to meet approximately 40 percent of the power requirements of its primary U.S. manufacturing complex, located in Greenwood, SC. Each year, the amount of carbon dioxide-equivalent emissions avoided by this initiative will equal the output of more than 17,000 vehicles.
