While it officially marked 40 years of operation in June, Screen (USA) plans to formally celebrate the anniversary of its founding on September 10 at the Art Institute of Chicago. The event is scheduled to coincide with Graph Expo 2007. Its Japanese parent company, Dainippon Screen, was incorporated in 1943, but was the outgrowth of a manufacturing capability dating back to the mid-1800s.
