Outsert System Rounds Out $12 Million Investment

GURNEE, IL—Haapanen Brothers has aggressively embraced technology during the past eight years, investing more than $12 million shop-wide. It recently added a second Vijuk MV-2005 outsert system with a G&K FA 53 folder as part of this investment.

The commercial shop has expanded into printing and folding pharmaceutical leaflets and outserts. “Vijuk has played an important part in increasing Haapanen Brothers’ book of business,” reports owner Jerry Haapanen. “From our first Vijuk folder in 2005, to our sixth machine last month, Vijuk has matched the consumer’s and our need for faster, more complex folding requirements.”
