GRASS VALLEY—The Union, a Swift Communications publication, has become the first newspaper in North America to install an Agfa Advantage N-SL computer-to-plate system. All Swift printing facilities have now converted to Agfa-based CTP workflows.

SANTA CLARA—PrintPapa recently introduced wholesale trade printing services to the graphic arts community in the San Francisco Bay area. To offer these services, the company installed a Presstek 34 DI, Xerox DocuColor 5000, off-line UV coater and a Morgana Autocreaser.
