Several announcements have been made at KBA North America. The company has moved its headquarters into a 60,000-square-foot facility at the Dallas/Ft. Worth Airport complex to house all of its sheetfed and web operations. In addition, KBA has teamed up with FLEXcon, a manufacturer of pressure-sensitive films and adhesives, and Megami Corp., a Japanese ink manufacturer, to test and qualify 38 different synthetic substrates that can be printed on an offset press. In other company news, Ulrich Wicke has been tapped as the new vice president of sales and service for the company’s web offset division in North America.
