NELA has acquired the assets of M+A Pass-System GmbH. While NELA is active in the newspaper, commercial web and sheetfed markets, M+A specializes in automatic register punching, sheering and bending systems for offset plates for the web market.

Fiberweb PLC announced that it has reached an out-of-court settlement with Baldwin Technology and its wholly owned subsidiary, Baldwin Graphic Systems, in connection with the respective patent actions commenced by Baldwin in the United States and Fiberweb in the UK. Details remain confidential.
