PITTSBURGH—July 16, 2014—Printing Industries of America has announced the recipients of the 2014 InterTech Technology Awards. The technologies receiving this respected award have been judged as truly innovative and are expected to advance the performance of the graphic communications industry.
An independent panel of judges deliberated over an outstanding selection of technology nominations, which showcased the dynamic nature of the industry. This year many of the awards were technologies supporting the packaging and label markets, providing hardware and software solutions, along with estimating software, digital presses, folding technology, and light measurement for viewing booths.
The following eleven technologies were selected to receive the 2014 InterTech Technology Award:

The InterTech stars, recognized as symbols of technological innovation and excellence, will be presented before an audience of industry leaders during the 2014 Premier Print Awards Gala Featuring the InterTech Technology Awards, Sept. 28 in Chicago.
A technology review booklet showcasing all of the year’s entries will be produced and distributed this fall at GRAPH EXPO 14 and with the September issue of Printing Industries of America—The Magazine; the publication will also be available at www.printing.org/InterTech.
