International Paper has consolidated its xpedx, Western Paper and Zellerbach operations in Salt Lake City under the xpedx brand. The move will provide a single point of contact for sales and customer service, as well as an enhanced product portfolio and a streamlined supply chain.

Two announcements have been made by technotrans AG. The company has purchased a majority interest in Termotek AG, a supplier of laser cooling systems. Sales and services will also be available via technotrans america. technotrans AG also signed a cooperation contract with Merlin Technology GmbH, which will combine its technologies for water preparation and compact cooling and temperature control units, with Merlin's humidification systems.
