STOUGHTON, Mass.—January 13, 2016—An unidentified printing warehouse worker was flown by helicopter to a Boston hospital Tuesday after the forklift he was operating fell about 12 feet off a platform, causing upper body trauma, The Enterprise reported.
Fire rescue personnel were called to First Impression Printing around 1:20 p.m. Firefighters were already on scene nearby investigating elevated carbon monoxide levels at another business.
According to the newspaper, the 911 caller said that the victim was unconscious but breathing. The injured worker was taken by ambulance to a local elementary school, then flown to Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston.
Officials from First Impression Printing did not immediately respond to a request for more information.
