LANCASTER, Pa. — March 7, 2016 — Firefighters extinguished a fire at RR Donnelley & Sons' (RRD) plant here this morning, Lancaster Online reported. The fire began at 4:45 a.m. inside a printing press, causing $50,000 worth of damage. No one was injured.
City Fire Lt. John Musselman said paper caught fire in the press, which had to be put out with the firefighters' extinguishers. The press was then taken apart to cool down. The whole process took about two hours.
The fire took place at 216 Greenfield Road in Lancaster, Pa. The cause is still being investigated.
