MGI Digital Graphic Technology, the French manufacturer of digital printing and finishing solutions, has acquired majority ownership in German industrial manufacturer KÖRA-PACKMAT GmbH to form The MGI Group.

Heidelberg's Saphira Bio Ink Series has achieved ISO 2846-1 conformance from Printing Industries of America. The inks are now certified to help printers achieve G7 Master Printer status, which requires the use of inks defined by ISO 2846-1.
