Pitney Bowes reports it has signed strategic alliance agreements with 40 service bureaus and large-volume mailers to offer its Volly secure digital delivery service. The agreements provide access to more than 5,000 companies and consumer brands. Christopher Johnson has also been appointed the new vice president, product management, of Volly.
Edward "Ned" Evans, 81, died in March. A retired teacher and department head at the Carnegie Mellon University Undergraduate Business School, Mr. Evans is credited with reviving the Printing Management Program at the university. He also worked for the former Miller Printing Machinery Co. for 25 years.
