PrintingForLess.com Acquires Digital Printing Assets from Southwest Color
LIVINGSTON, MT—January 25, 2012—PrintingForLess.com announced it has acquired certain assets of Southwest Color of Tucson, AZ. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Andrew Field, CEO of PFL, stated, “Southwest Color is a great addition to our company and will be an important component for our future success and growth. We fully expect to explore further strategic acquisitions in 2012.”
“Everybody in this venture is going to benefit immensely,” said Southwest Color owner Chad Smith. “Both companies have something different to offer and I look forward to working with PFL to expand our product offerings to both of our customer bases.”
“Southwest Color has digital and variable-data printing capabilities that support both companies,” he continued. “We call on a different group of customers [than PFL], so there’s not much overlap. We will be able to sell what PFL does, which is primarily short- to medium-run offset work, and have the firepower of PFL’s industry leading e-commerce platform, which is extremely important.”
“People are joining forces these days to operate more efficiently and to lower costs,” Field added. “We have rapidly growing and diverse group of customers—from SMB to enterprise. We are looking forward to being even more successful with an industry veteran like Chad on board.”
