PrintMediaCentr Partners with Paper Merchants, NPTA and AtTask
April 23, 2013—PrintMediaCentr (PMC) has partnered with several Paper Merchants to bring a fresh webinar series to the paper specification community called Papercuts. These conversational sessions will allow for plenty of audience participation, Q&A time, and focus on multiple substrates during each presentation. Join the exclusive mailing list to receive first-come, first-served samples and giveaways prior to the webinars, and be first to receive information and invitations to upcoming webinars by clicking here.
Papercuts will kick-off on May 21, 2013 at 1PM ET. The first webinar will be co-hosted by Jill DiNicolantonio from Millcraft Paper and focus on specifying paper for invitations and dealing with the envelope factor. “Nine out of ten designers design invitations with a certain paper in mind, but small quantities often mean they won’t be able to use that paper,” said DiNicolantonio. “I will offer some tips on how to work with merchants and printers that will help buyers, designers and marketers avoid this problem, and produce on the paper they spec, or find a viable alternative.”
Deborah Corn, principal and intergalactic ambassador to The Printerverse at PrintMediaCentr, also stated: “This year is all about Print Inspiration for us, and it starts with Paper! Papercuts will be a fun and informative platform for us to share information on a wide variety of papers and substrates. By partnering with the Paper Merchants to co-host the webinars, they will provide un-biased paper expertise, and a mechanism for attendees to obtain samples and other goodies to discuss during the webinar!”
The format of Papercuts will be to focus on one topic and review best practices as well as the papers and substrates recommended by the Paper Merchants. The Merchants bring a wealth of paper knowledge and extensive experience helping the buying, marketing and design community with their paper choices. The series will also help spread the word on the services and capabilities of Paper Merchants and how to work with them as a print customer.
Papercuts has been made possible through the generous support of the National Paper Trade Association (NPTA), and AtTask.
