Rocco Ancora has been named as one of the top ten photographers in the world by photography magazine American Photo. His mastery of light and ability to capture the human connection in photos drives his success. His work is celebrated both in his home country of Australia and internationally, with many major awards to his name. He also serves as a spokesperson for major brands and is a Creative Live Instructor.
Creative Live is the world’s largest live streaming education website and is committed to helping individuals grow their creative skillsets and expertise by connecting them with world-class experts and professionals. When presenting for Creative Live and in his personal photography business, Rocco requires the use of a light booth that conforms to the ISO 3664:2009 standard.
Rocco states, “As a photographer and fine art printer, the evaluation of print quality has to be accurate. Today’s color management systems rely upon D50 lighting as normal ICC profiles are based on D50 light. The relationship between monitor and print therefore can only be assessed under correct lighting conditions. The GTI (Booth 2208) PDV is a crucial tool in my workflow as it provides accurate D50 lighting. The PDV’s dimming control allows me to match brightness viewing levels to my screen for side by side comparison.”
