Proforma’s Owner Advisory Council (OAC), member owners elected each year to represent their geographical regions, recently held its annual planning meeting with Proforma’s top Executive Team Members. Historically attended in-person, most council members chose to attend this year’s meeting via Zoom due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Every year, Proforma’s OAC comes together with Proforma Executive Team Members to set the goals and initiatives that will drive the continued growth of the organization. The OAC serves as a liaison between Owners and Proforma’s Leadership. This years’ committee members gathered to evaluate new innovative strategies for connecting with prospects and customers in a largely virtual environment.
“Proforma’s annual planning meeting sets our course for the year ahead,” said Vera Muzzillo, CEO of Proforma. “We are excited about the meaningful conversations that we were able to have in these intimate meetings to discuss new ways we can grow together. Since Covid-19, we have significantly ramped up our Technology and Marketing Support of our ProStores eCommerce offering and this meeting provided an opportunity to discuss how we can maximize that resource, and many other resources, to benefit every member of the Proforma organization.”
During this meeting Proforma’s OAC established work groups to help facilitate upcoming projects in the areas of marketing, business development and strategic supplier partner development. Each work group will work towards a common goal to provide Proforma Owners with the valuable strategies and supporting resources to help drive sales and create new opportunities for business growth as the organization continues to successfully pivot amidst the changing environment.
“What makes this planning meeting so unique was our ability to pivot and address issues that are currently on everyone's mind," said Brenda Angelini, OAC President and Co-Owner of Angelini + Diamond Solutions Powered by Proforma. “It’s extraordinary for an organization of our size to be able to adapt so quickly to the critical needs of the organization. We were able to develop a plan for the next 12 months that is innovative, creative and responsive in a way that will help our Owners move the needle forward."
