Proforma, the largest family-owned and operated distributor in the print and promotional products industry, proudly participated in the Halloween in the Village event on Davis Islands. This annual event promotes community and celebrates the Halloween spirit – ushering in Fall while creating lasting memories for all who attend. This marks Proforma’s 10th consecutive year as sponsors in 2024.
In the wake of two major hurricanes that directly affected Davis Islands, this year’s event was more meaningful than ever. Halloween in the Village served as a powerful display of the community’s resilience, with over 200 volunteers coming together to clean debris and create a safe environment for the festivities. The hard work of all involved provided a unique opportunity for local businesses and residents to unite for a common purpose.
Proforma's Vanessa Edwards continues to be passionately dedicated to planning the event, channeling her energy and enthusiasm each year to ensure every attendee has a memorable experience.
“Halloween in the Village is incredibly special to both Davis Islands, and also to Proforma," said Vanessa Edwards, Director of Business Development. "Following the recent hurricanes, it was a joy to pour into all members of the community – supporting not only the youth but also local businesses. There is nothing better than seeing the smiles and watching families and friends come together to create special moments."
As a leader in the print and promotional products industry, Proforma was instrumental in providing signage and print materials for the event. In addition, Proforma sponsored trick-or-treat bags filled with various giveaways which the Executive and Leadership Team dedicated time to assembling during their strategic planning meetings.
Other members of the Proforma Support Center Team also joined in the fun, dressing up in costumes, handing out candy and branded goodies, and participating in other planned activities. "This is my first year working with Proforma and being involved in the event," states Gianna Mangino, Marketing Specialist. "Attending Halloween in the Village was such a delight. It makes me so proud to be part of this team and – through Proforma – part of the Davis Islands Community."
