Quad/Graphics’ Acquisition of Brown Printing Passes Antitrust Review
SUSSEX, WI and WASECA, MN—May 20, 2014—Quad/Graphics Inc. and Brown Printing, jointly announced today that the waiting period for antitrust review of the proposed combination of the two companies expired at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, May 19, with no action taken by the Federal Trade Commission.
Quad/Graphics and Brown can now move forward with their proposed sale agreement, announced on April 7. The transaction is expected to close in the next few weeks.
