Quad/Graphics Fire Sends Two to Hospital in GA

EVANS, GA—Two employees of a Quad/Graphics plant here were treated and released from a local hospital following a flash fire in one of the presses on Sept. 17, The Augusta Chronicle reported.

The Columbia County Fire Rescue said that the fire was reported at 9:16 p.m. Claire Ho, director of corporate communications, told the paper that workers followed proper procedures and the facility’s fire suppression system quickly extinguished the flames.

There was no report as to the cause of the fire.
