Quad/Graphics Worker Gets Hand Stuck in Press

LOMIRA, WI—August 27, 2014—An unidentified Quad/Graphics employee was taken to the hospital Tuesday after getting his hand stuck in a press, according to the Fond du Lac Reporter.
A Flight for Life medical helicopter was dispatched to the Quad facility here at around 9:45 a.m. A spokesperson for the printer said that the employee was able to free himself from the machine before Fond du Lac firefighters reported to the scene.
The employee was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries and was released later that night, the Quad spokesperson said. The company is still investigating the accident.
