Rapid Color Printing Gains Speed, Performance by Implementing the XMF Workflow System from Fujifilm
HANOVER PARK, IL—October 8, 2014—Rapid Color Printing, a Las Vegas commercial printer, and Rapid Color East, its commercial printing division located in Atlanta, are pleased to announce the successful installation and implementation of its new Fujifilm XMF workflow system. Due to its increased growth over the last three years and the recent acquisition and formation of Rapid Color East in Atlanta, the firm had outgrown its previous workflow system and decided to upgrade to the new Fujifilm XMF workflow system. This allows both shops to continue to provide quick response and high-quality printed products to its customers.
“We were pleased with our working partnership with Fujifilm North America,” stated David Huckabay, president of both the Las Vegas and Atlanta facilities. “They have proven to be a good supplier for Rapid Color. The XMF workflow system is extremely robust and reliable. It uses the latest Adobe PDF Print Engine for better speed and performance. Since its installation, we have been very pleased with the results.”
XMF is the revolutionary new print workflow solution from Fujifilm. It is the first commercially available product to integrate the next generation Adobe PDF Print Engine and JDF compliant. Users are not only ensured of increased workflow speed and flexibility but also of a future-proofed modular technology that can grow with their business. Fujifilm XMF provides intelligent automation, flow and color control, flexibility and improved communication.
“With the extreme growth in the North American market of Fujifilm XMF, it is very important that we partner with key innovative customers like Rapid Color to take XMF to new levels in the print market,” noted Jason Kammes, business development manager for Fujifilm North America’s Graphic Systems Division. “We look forward to the growth of the partnership and the production workflow solution.”
