A new and forward-looking book “Cloud Production” is debuting at PRINT 17. This guide was selected by Konica Minolta (Booth 2031) to highlight the importance of these technologies, and to showcase the company’s printing and finishing capabilities. Konica Minolta is making the book available for free to show attendees.
The book is written by two industry experts: industry consultant and commentator, Dr. Joe Webb, and web-to-print and marketing expert, Slava Apel, President of Amazing Print Tech (Booth 667). The authors discuss the merits of migrating to cloud computing in a practical and easy-to-read way. They identify more than 40 touchpoints within the printing industry from on-premises based servers, software, and computing processes, to cloud-based automation. They offer data about financial savings for print businesses, review user case studies, and include an overview of hundreds of providers of automation tools.
Dr. Webb and Mr. Apel will be at PRINT 17 to sign copies of the new book for attendees.
The Cloud Production book can also be pre-ordered—at a special price—at
