MALVERN, PA—October 21, 2014—Ricoh Americas today announced that it is making its debut appearance at SGIA Expo, Oct. 22-24 in Las Vegas, and will showcase new offerings and solutions from its award-winning production print portfolio. From brochures to signage to textured media, Ricoh’s latest production cutsheet, wide-format and marketing campaign management offerings are empowering print and marketing services providers with distinctive application possibilities to better serve their customers and grow their businesses. In booth #4367, visitors will experience a wide variety of applications that can enable them to differentiate from competitors with more impactful output. Ricoh experts will be on hand to discuss ways to take advantage of Ricoh’s customer-centric approach to implementing solutions that open up new revenue streams and make their operations more effective.
Affordably and efficiently producing multi-channel, cross-media campaigns that are creative, engaging and personalized is a necessity for today’s specialty graphics providers. SGIA Expo attendees will see demonstrations of banner printing with white and clear inks, along with seven-color printing on various substrates of applications in Ricoh’s booth, which will be both printed and personalized onsite.
Attendees will experience these latest solutions hands-on:
- Ricoh Pro L4160—a wide-format color printer that offers specialty printers superior print quality for signs, banners, wraps and point of sale displays in vivid color on a wide range of substrates. Seven-color printing—CMYK, orange, green and white aqueous latex inks—offers an increased color gamut, the ability to print on clear and backlit substrates and output that can withstand the elements. Printers can respond quickly to rush orders and take on new jobs that they previously couldn’t with fast printing speeds and no post-drying curing times—helping to increase their revenues in the process.
- Mimaki JFX200-2513—a high-performance, entry-level flatbed inkjet printer, ideal for those interested in growing or creating a wide-format printing practice. The JFX200-2513 provides high-quality color output at an affordable price. The JFX200-2513, capable of handling substrates up to 1.97" thick and 4.2x8.2 ft. in size, is designed to address a variety of wide-format needs. Mimaki’s proprietary print head control technology reduces clogging and its energy-saving LED-UV curing unit avoids time- and energy-cost sinks, allowing users to print specialty jobs with fidelity and efficiency.
- Ricoh Pro C5110s sets a standard in value, versatility and footprint. Multiple technologies that include a unique ac-transfer system and elastic fusing belt illustrate outstanding output on a wide variety of textured media. Ricoh’s expanded media library enables customers to easily manage an extensive list of substrates and the key printing parameters to optimize the output quality on each substrate, thus maximizing productivity and image quality.
- Marketing campaign management—Ricoh’s award-winning 1to1Create Marketing Services is a cloud-based platform and subscription service aimed to help small to medium-sized Print Service Providers create, launch, track, manage, modify and optimize turnkey cross-media marketing campaigns with the tools, templates and tips needed to execute ROI-generating personalized marketing campaigns. 1to1Create Marketing Services integrates technology from PTI’s MarcomCentral, which helps companies quickly launch a Web-to-print campaign with personalized images and on-demand delivery and cross-media functionality. This powerful SaaS (software as a service) solution helps companies increase customer engagement and revenues, customize workflows and expand cross-media capabilities—all without the installation of new servers, software or added development costs.
“As the demand for specialty graphics is evolving, printers are looking for new ways to offer and take on different types of work that distinguish them—and their customers—from the competition,” said Tim Vellek, senior vice president, Marketing, Ricoh Americas. “Great campaign management and workflow solutions are just as important to specialty graphics jobs as great hardware.
