Rider Dickerson Targets High-Quality Digital Printing with HP Indigo 7500 Press

CHICAGO—May 13, 2011—Rider Dickerson is thrilled to announce the purchase and installation of a new HP Indigo 7500 digital press. The purchase comes in response to the growing demand for high-quality digital printing in the industry. Rider Dickerson is one of a few printers in the Chicago area to have an HP Indigo 7500.

Management’s decision to invest in the press was based on growing demand for variable data and quick turnaround times on high-quality digital print. The new HP Indigo 7500 digital press is the most technologically advanced, high-volume sheetfed digital printing solution in the market.

Designed for high-volume production, the press can print up to 120 A4 pages per minute in full color. The 7500 has a range of workflow solutions to support the demands of complex jobs and scaling environments. In addition, it has the capability to print a larger sheet size of 13x19"+ bleeds, as well as print on a variety of thicker stocks ranging up to 18 pt. Another notable feature is that the 7500 has the ability to print white ink on dark stocks and clear plastics.

A bonus with the HP Indigo 7500 is that it was designed with the environment in mind. The press uses up to 10 percent less energy per printed page than its predecessor and features an advanced on-press oil recycling system designed to eliminate the need for additional imaging oil.
