RMGT 9 Series Eight-Color Perfecting Press to Run Live at PRINT 17

PLACENTIA, Calif. - August 29, 2017 - RMGT will be running the award-winning 9 Series perfecting press live on the PRINT 17 show floor Sept. 10-14 at McCormick Place in Chicago. The 9 Series 8-up press was recognized with a 2017 Must See ‘Ems award. With more than 700 installations worldwide, the company has already sold 20 in North America in the first 8 months of 2017. The press running on the show floor has been purchased by Azar Printing, who will take delivery of the press at their facility in St. Louis in late September once the show has wrapped.

The RMGT 9 Series eight-color Perfecting Press with LED-UV and Coater will run live throughout the show, with demonstrations every hour, on the half hour, at Booth 1244. Plates for the press will be imaged by technology partner CRON-ECRM (Booth 1644), and the signatures will be collated, trimmed, and stitched on the Horizon FoldLiner in the Standard Finishing Systems booth (Booth 1231). Printed samples showing off the technology will be available at the booth throughout the show, including limited edition posters celebrating the Chicago Cubs historic 2016 World Series victory.

The 9 Series press has proven to be the most productive press of its size in the market worldwide and especially here in North America where labor costs are high, competition is tough and settling for a de-featured press is not an option for printers who are keenly focused on profit. Not only has the RMGT 9 created a market segment that fits both emerging printing companies and larger more established firms, it has also displaced many less efficient 29 and 40-inch presses from competitive press manufacturers.
