RED BANK, NJ—September 18, 2013—Diversified Graphic Machinery, a global leader in print enhancement technology has announced a major sale of two Foildex Cold Foil and Filmdex UV Cast and Cure systems to Rohrer Corp. in Wadsworth, OH.
Founded in 1973, Rohrer Corp. provides beginning-to-end packaging solutions. This includes package design, thermoform packaging, and printed paperboard packaging in order to simplify the packaging process. Rohrer is the country’s largest supplier of high visibility packaging operating out of manufacturing plants in Ohio, Georgia, Illinois, Arizona and Pennsylvania.
The sale and purchase was announced jointly from the DGM exhibit at PRINT 13 by Michael DeBard, president of Diversified Graphic Machinery and Scot Adkins, president and CEO of Rohrer Corp.
"We are ecstatic to have been selected by Rohrer Corp., one of the leading packaging companies in North America to have ordered two complete Foildex Cold Foil and Filmdex Cast and Cure Systems that will be installed in the coming months in their impressive, state-of-the art facility in Wadsworth," DeBard said. "This will be a first of its kind installation in the world with our combination Foildex Cold Foil and Cast and Cure systems installed on their Komori 8-40 press."
Commenting on the company's significant DGM purchase, Adkins said: "We are impressed by the sophistication of DGM’s Foildex Systems allowing us to apply Cold Foil and Cast and Cure graphic finishes simultaneously inline. Foildex will enable Rohrer Corp. to produce high-impact retail packaging at a lower cost than previously possible with off-line processes."
