manroland Re-establishes NA Web Operations

WESTMONT, IL—manroland web systems, the U.S. sales and service organization for the Augsburg, Germany-based manufacturer, has been re-established here by L. Possehl & Co., the firm that obtained the web press portion of manroland’s operations in February.

The new company will operate out of the existing manroland facility here for the foreseeable future. Roland Ortbach, who has been with the company for more than 20 years, was named CEO of manroland web systems North America.

Primary activities of the new organization are focused on supporting the base of manroland commercial web and newspaper equipment users through parts and service offerings and the sale of new commercial web and newspaper printing presses in North America.

manroland web systems is a completely separate legal entity from the manroland sheetfed organization, which is owned by Langley Holdings.
