Roland to Launch New Digital Sign System and Printing Technologies at ISA 2014
IRVINE, CA—April 17, 2014—Attendees at the upcoming ISA International Sign Expo, April 24-26, 2014 in Orlando, FL, will be able to experience the official launch of the new Roland DisplayStudio Digital Sign System, a user-friendly system for signmakers looking to get started in the rapidly growing digital signage market. Roland will also be showcasing its latest UV and eco-solvent digital printing technologies at the event.
ISA 2014 will mark the unveiling of Roland DisplayStudio Digital Sign System, designed especially for sign shops that want to create new revenue streams by incorporating digital signage into their current product offerings. Roland’s solution will include feature-rich software, a compact media player and a choice of high-resolution, commercial-grade LED-backlit LCD displays in a range of sizes, plus mounting hardware. Roland DGA President Rick Scrimger will be providing an overview of Roland’s digital signage offerings in an ISA Expo presentation, “Demystifying Digital Signage for Signmakers,” scheduled for 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 24 at the show’s Dynamic Digital Park (booth 108).
Those visiting booth 1036 can also see a close-up demonstration of Roland’s innovative new VersaUV LEF-20 UV-LED benchtop flatbed printer, as well as the company’s next generation of advanced VersaCAMM wide-format printer/cutters, the VSi Series. The VersaUV LEF-20, which boasts a print area that is 20x13x3.94", is capable of printing on a vast array of substrates and three-dimensional objects, making it perfect for personalizing pens, smartphone covers, signs, giftware, promotional items and more.
