Roland to Feature New Products, Special Promotions, Presentations at SGIA 2013
IRVINE, CA—October 17, 2013—Digital printing leader Roland DGA will be unveiling exciting new products and conducting informative demonstrations and presentations in booth 828 at the upcoming SGIA Expo, October 23-25, in Orlando, FL. In addition to introducing advanced devices such as the new VersaUV LEF-20 UV flatbed printer and VersaCAMM VSi Series printer/cutters, Roland will be providing attendees with useful information and instruction on everything from vehicle wrap installation and custom apparel creation to maximizing efficiency and production with VersaWorks software.
“Visitors to our SGIA 2013 booth will be able to experience the Roland magic,” said Roland DGA President Rick Scrimger. “It’s a great opportunity to see all the amazing things our products can do, while also obtaining valuable insights and useful tips and tricks.”
Making its debut at SGIA 2013, the new Roland VersaUV LEF-20 boasts a larger 20˝x13˝x3.94˝ print area and can print directly on a vast array of substrates and three-dimensional objects. The LEF-20 is capable of personalizing pens, smart phone covers, signs, giftware, golf balls, promotional items, and more. It’s also designed to take full advantage of Roland’s specially formulated, fast drying ECO-UV inks in CMYK, White and Clear, which image beautifully, conform around complex corners and curves, and allow for unique embossing and varnishing effects.
SGIA show attendees will be equally impressed with Roland’s new generation of VersaCAMM printer/cutters—the VSi Series. These state-of-the-art wide-format inkjets offer everything users love about VersaCAMM—the best-selling printers in the durable graphics industry worldwide—plus additional features and capabilities that raise ease-of-use and performance to an even higher level.
Roland will also be showcasing the new SOLJET Pro 4 XF-640—the company’s fastest printer ever. Visitors to the Roland booth can watch the rocket-fast XF-640 produce vibrant, detailed prints at speeds up to 1,098 square feet per hour. Other popular Roland inkjets, such as company’s flagship Pro 4 XR-640 and compact yet powerful VersaStudio BN-20 printer/cutters, will be on display as well, along with state-of-the-art devices from Roland’s vinyl cutter and rotary engraving product lines.
Dedicated to providing ongoing product education and support, Roland has a number of demonstrations and presentations planned for this year’s expo. Booth visitors will be able to watch specialists from Louisville, KY-based Digital EFX Wraps perform vehicle wrap magic using Roland printers. Attendees can also catch any of the in-booth product manager presentations, including: “Introducing the New VersaCAMM VSi,” “T-Shirts & More—Maximize Profit by Performing Multiple Applications with a Single Design on the BN-20,” and “Adding Value to Prints with Selective Spot Colors in VersaWorks.” A special Roland presentation, “Designing for Grand-and Wide-Format Printing,” will take place as well on Thurs., Oct. 24, 1 p.m.-2:30 p.m. in room S220-D of the expo hall.
There will also be opportunities to save on the purchase of selected Roland products. Expo attendees will be able to take advantage of promotions offering $10,000 off the purchase of a VersaUV LEJ-640 hybrid flatbed printer or a VersaUV LEC-540 printer/cutter and $7,000 off a VersaUV LEC-330 printer/cutter, effective Oct. 21 through Dec. 31, 2013.
