Blue Prism Digital, based in San Fernando, Calif., provides their customers with everything from packaging concepts and design to fulfillment and distribution. Seeking more control over their package production, Blue Prism Digital’s founder Barbara Buschmann researched her options to do in-house diecutting for creative customer packaging.
Blue Prism Digital chose to partner with Rollem International and their Insignia flexo-magnetic sheetfed diecutter which allowed the company to produce custom packaging for a variety of industries. Due to the ability to convert the most intricate applications on a wide variety of substrates and thicknesses, these aspects allow them to create, produce fast turn-around products with complete control and no down time.
Blue Prism Digital added the Insignia 6 model diecutter which offers the ability to feed sheets in either the landscape or portrait orientation to maximize the layout of the sheet.
The 20x20” sheet capacity and ability to handle stock weights up to 24-pt. thicknesses allows for a variety of packaging and promotional products to be produced for Blue Prism Digital’s customers including prominent national and local entertainment companies.
The IS6 performs diecutting, kiss-cutting, embossing, perforating, scoring and cut-scoring on a range of papers, plastics, magnetic material, PVC, styrene and polypropylenes. “Our team is utilizing the Insignia in a variety of ways to expand our packaging line. Having the in-house control over the entire design, production and delivery process positions Blue Prism Digital to respond quickly to our clients’ needs,” states Blue Prism Digital’s Barbara Buschmann.
