Rollem International installs a Semi-Slitter and Champion 990 Slitting System at two companies to improve both their PSA and Perforating finishing processes.
Allegra Marketing Print Mail, Norfolk, VA, installed an 18” Semi-Slitter model.
Allegra Marketing is a full-service marketing and print communications company. Allegra’s owner, Curtis Hoessly, visited the Rollem booth at Printing United 2022 to research what options Rollem offered for kiss-cutting pressure sensitive material. Following the demonstration and explanation of the functions of the machine, Allegra ordered and received the installation of an 18” wide Semi-Slitter model to apply both face and back slits to most of the shops PSA stocks.
The Semi-Slitter is offered in five model sizes from 18” up to 42” widths, making it the broadest range of kiss-cutting machines on the market. Its precisely easy depth adjustment result in precisely controlled cuts, essential for finishing all types of pressure sensitive applications.
Kwiktickets, Uniontown, PA, installed an 18” Champion 990 Perf Slit and Score model.
Kwiktickets specializes in event tickets which require multiple perforations and micro-perforations to create the ticket sheets. The company needed the 18” width capacity of Rollem’s Champion 990 model to give them the ability to add multiple heads for various functions. The Champion 990 accommodates many of the product formats requiring perforating, slitting and micro-perforating allowing each of the functions to perform either simultaneously or individually. With all types of tickets products, the Champion 990 is the ideal solution for applying the perforations or slitting needed to produce tickets.
