Rollem International’s booth was packed full of automated finishing equipment including the newest Insignia6H PLUS sheet-fed die-cutter, the operator friendly Folder Gluer system and the Jetstream production level XY Slitter Scoring model. The economical Champion 990 Slit Score Perf model and the Semi-Slitter dedicated kiss-cutting system rounded out the exhibit.
“Based on my conversations with people leading up to the event, a majority indicated they would be in attendance so I was cautiously optimistic we would have an excellent show. My instinct proved true as our booth was literally packed with people within the initial 20 minutes of the show’s opening bell. It helped we had an excellent location just in front of an entrance”, states Doug Sherwood, Rollem’s National Sales Manager.
Sherwood continues “we received positive responses to our automated demonstrations which showed attendees first-hand how our ‘all-in-one-pass, flat sheet in – finished products out concept’ is what printers are searching for. Our solutions require only one operator to perform multiple processes in one system. Their design eliminates multiple machines, product movement all while saving on labor.”
Rollem’s immediate sales include the Insignia6H PLUS Die-Cutter, our XY Production Slitter Scoring model plus multiple smaller format slitting and kiss-cutting models. I’m predicting record orders in the upcoming weeks based on the feedback from our regional sales representatives .
The Insignia Die-Cutter drew the most crowds to the booth with live demonstrations showing multiple-up folding cartons. Visitors were able to have in-depth conversations with Insignia’s Product Manager, Kevin Corwin. “Printers unfamiliar with our rotary die-cutter utilizing flexible dies are really impressed when they see it in operation. They recognize the value and time savings with Insignia’s ability to not only die-cut, but to automatically separate and divert the matrix. Products such as folded cartons are delivered as the finished product --complete with creases, perfs, and slits. We showed our Folder/Gluer system near-line, next to the Insignia, where the crash-lock cartons were finished and glued”, states Kevin Corwin.
Corwin continues, “We’re excited for next year’s event which will be back in Las Vegas. Rollem has expanded our booth space for 2024 in anticipation of an even greater turnout for Printing United. We’re excited for next year’s event. In the meantime, checkout Rollem’s solutions at www.rollemusa.com or youtube.com/rolleminternational.
