INDIANAPOLIS—Ropkey Graphics, which recently emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy and changed ownership, has purchased SPG Graphics. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The deal quadruples Ropkey's size. The company will now move from its 20,000-square-foot facility into SPG's 55,000-square-foot headquarters here.
SPG brings electronic computer-to-plate services, digital printing, short- to long-run multicolor printing, comprehensive bindery and client services to Ropkey's business.
The founders of SPG Graphics, Bob Purvis and his partner, Linda George, plan to remain with the company for several months to ensure a smooth transition.
