NASHVILLE, TN—February 11, 2015—Chicago-based RR Donnelley is shutting down its plant located here that it obtained in the Moore Wallace acquisition of 2004, The Tennessean reported. The closure is expected to be completed in early May.
The company filed notice with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, which indicated the move will impact 133 employees.
The Nashville facility was among the holdings Donnelley acquired when it nabbed Moore Wallace in 2004. Prior to Moore Wallace, the company was operated by Check Printers, which operated out of the 11-acre property in Nashville, the newspaper said.
Phyllis Burgee, director of corporate communications for RR Donnelley, declined to comment on the report.
