Ryan Printing Cited by Inc. Magazine as Fastest Growing Commercial, Internet Printer
BLAUVELT, NY—July 15, 2013—Ryan Printing, a full-service printer whose customers include Condé Nast, Harper Collins and Lauren Fishman Events, is meeting the demands of its rapidly-growing customer base by introducing enhanced online services, modernizing its bindery and fulfillment departments and expanding its existing 25,000-square-foot plant by 6,000 square feet.
In 2012, Ryan Printing was named the number one commercial and Internet printing firm by Inc. magazine on its list of America's fastest growing companies, a distinction earned by 66 percent increased sales over a three-year period. "Our business is robust because we're committed to producing superior printing at a fair price that's delivered on schedule," said company president Al Ryan. "For us, customer satisfaction is the only thing."
So that customers can quickly and easily initiate printing projects, Ryan recently introduced its Online Order Desk. By using any Web browser, with no special software or login code required, customers can now effortlessly upload jobs to the company's FTP site. "This will enable us to more rapidly schedule and prepare printing jobs, providing our customers with greater flexibility and the confidence that their projects are being expedited immediately," noted Ryan.
The foremost upgrade to the bindery is the addition of a Polar N 115 AT "guillotine" cutter, making Ryan Printing the first facility in the United States to have this unique piece of equipment manufactured in Heidelberg, Germany. The high-speed cutter automatically removes waste, increasing productivity by 30 percent. It also significantly shortens make-ready times and provides much greater accuracy to within a hundredth of a millimeter. Another important bindery addition is an advanced folding machine that facilitates scoring and perforation operations.
To contain the new bindery equipment and provide room for a more efficient mailing and fulfillment department, Ryan Printing has expanded its physical plant to include an adjacent 6,000 square foot facility, increasing its size by 25 percent. "This not only provides us the space to be better organized and more proficient in what we can do for our customers, but it gives us room to grow as the Ryan Printing success story continues," relayed Ryan.
