Sakurai Names Greg Friesser General Manager
SCHAUMBURG, IL—June 18, 2010—Greg Friesser has been named General Manager of Sakurai USA, Inc. with overall responsibility for administration, budgets, direct and dealer sales for offset and screen presses, operations, service, parts and training. The announcement was made by Ryuta Sakurai, President, Sakurai Graphic Systems Corporation. Friesser, Director of Operations for Sakurai USA for the past two and a half years, brings over 36 years of printing industry experience and expertise to this key management position.
Separately, John Wokurka, a 12 year veteran of Sakurai USA was promoted to Operations Manager with responsibility for logistics, spare parts, service and administrative support. Wokurka previously held the position of Spare Parts Manager. Friesser and Wokurka will continue to be located in Sakurai’s North American headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois.
