Samuel Strapping Systems, News Group and Ovalstrapping Graphics merge to form GO Packaging
FORT PAYNE, AL—04/04/07—In the fourth quarter of 2006, Samuel Manutech completed the purchase of Ovalstrapping Graphic Arts and Industrial divisions in the U.S. One of the objectives of the purchase was to utilize the synergies of Samuel Strapping Systems News Group and the Oval Graphic Arts Group. To take advantage of these synergies, we are proud to announce the creation of an exciting new company called GO Packaging. The new company will offer news and newspaper customers a full line of high speed on-line and offline bundling equipment, including the industry leading NT 440 and Strapmaster machines. In addition to high performance equipment, GO Packaging will offer a full line of stretch film equipment as well stretch film, strapping, and wire consumables.
The new company will operate out of Fort Payne, Al, and will offer direct sales and service support across the United States. GO Packaging will continue to provide and support existing products from both companies, and will expand its’ product offering in the near future to better serve our customers in the News industries.
“With our existing base of accounts and our expanded sales force, we are now better able to serve both new and existing customers,” says Gary Nesbitt, Sales Manager, GO Packaging. “Our expanded product and service offering creates a new standard for post press packaging support in the news sector”
