Customer Who Got Trapped in San Antonio FedEx Store After Closing Takes it All in Stride
SAN ANTONIO—July 13, 2015—A local man found himself stuck inside a FedEx Office Print & Ship Center for two hours last Saturday night after the employees closed the store, not realizing that customer Chris Galvan was still inside, reported WFSB.
Galvan went to the FedEx Office Print & Ship Center to make prints and copies just before the store closed. "Nobody was there, so I kept yelling, 'hello,' " Galvan recalls. "And I realized the doors were locked and nobody was there."

According to WFSB, Galvan called another FedEx Office location that was open 24 hours and was told that a manager would be coming to the store to let him out. To pass the time, Galvan posted photos and status updates of his experience on Facebook for the two hours that he waited. One read: "I am stuck inside FedEx...Quite possibly the strangest experience of my life...so I'm just chilling in a FedEx Office all by myself."
While Galvan was relaxed about the situation, the manager who arrived at the center at 11 p.m. reportedly did not respond in kind. "She just said 'get out' and I responded 'ok, thank you very much.' "
In a statement, FedEx Office advised that it is currently investigating the situation and issued an apology for inconveniencing the customer. FedEx also indicated that it would take any necessary corrective action to prevent anything like this from happening again.
Taking this as an experience he will never forget, Galvan concluded, "You better make sure that when you go into a store, let them know you're there."
